On an intellectual level, you understand that “all bodies are good bodies.” You know your body is the vehicle through which you’ve become the accomplished, competent person who’s proud of the life she’s worked hard to create. You get that it’s your body that allows you to participate in the world, and stay engaged with the people, environments, and causes that matter most to you.
So why is it that when you look in the mirror, a lot of the time the first thing you feel is disappointment?
Somehow, all the knowledge in the world hasn’t translated to seeing your strength, beauty, and power. And you haven’t been able to self-care or self-awareness yourself out of the part of you that is always at the ready to point out {what you perceive as} your physical flaws.
You want to experience yourself as confident and self-expressed without worrying about your appearance. You want to appreciate the multifaceted aspects of your unique beauty, and extend the same open and generous gaze you easily offer others back to yourself. You long for some freedom from the itty-bitty shitty committee living rent free in your already-too-full head, and to learn to more easily encourage and build yourself up.
Instead, you find yourself holding back, hiding, apologizing. Second guessing, comparing, shrinking. It’s embarrassing, really, because the stakes are higher than ever and there are much larger fish you’d prefer to be frying.
Re:Wild is an invitation to explore the following questions with a cohort of other badass women:
What if you were truly relaxed and at home in your body?
These are big questions! And we’re going to have some fun with them.**
The cultural narrative around “loving your body!” doesn’t take into consideration the nuances and complexities of what it actually takes to do that. In a society that is constantly bombarding you with messages around what you’re supposed to look like, or the next thing you’re supposed to buy so you can keep upholding unattainable beauty standards, even thinking about opting out is exhausting.
And! Despite the overtly political nature of these topics, Re:Wild is an invitation to not only move away from theory and information and actually experience yourself in a fresh way, but also (and best of all!) to have some IRL fun with other extraordinary women. Let’s retreat away from society’s eyeball for a day, refill our cups, and then head back out into all we’re up to in the world with a whole new crew of friends.
Re:Wild is experiential. While there will be some teaching offered by your co-hosts, the curriculum is designed with the intention of putting your intellect on the shelf for a day. You’ll be invited into your body, into your heart, and into the magical, third thing that’s created amongst a group of like-minded companions. Not to mention! An afternoon ~vibe-shift~ which will feature a collaborative art project, a somatic exercise, and…a professional photoshoot.
The photoshoot will be the culmination of our time together and an opportunity for you to see yourself in a radically new way (corporate headshots have their place but this is NOT the place).
So we can foster an environment of trust and safety, you’re encouraged to attend two pre-retreat prep calls to get to know your fellow participants, and to begin your re:wilding process before we even gather in person.
Post retreat, you’ll have the option to continue an ongoing creative photo experiment.

While many paths to “self-improvement” focus on conforming to cultural defaults or rely on rigid structures, I founded Self Made to swim in different waters. As an Integral Coach, I partner with creative, rebellious, and bold people to help them disrupt autopilot patterning so they can live into an on-purpose life of their design.
Together, we nurture supportive practices to sustain the long game of healing, self-discovery, deprogramming social constructs, dismantling harmful systems, choosing things that make us feel better rather than worse, navigating all the things life will inevitably throw our way, and, most important of all, cultivating a world that works for all of us.
I write as a creative and spiritual practice, a way to build community, and to light lanterns on the path of transformation for us all.
